Adult Medicine
Health care services are available to all adult patients (including the elderly). Preventive health screenings are very important for men and women as we age. Our providers specialize in treating people with high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma and other chronic diseases.
Pediatric Medicine (Children)
We offer pediatric and newborn care for children under the age of 19. This includes routine health checks and immunizations, in addition to lead, vision and hearing screenings. Our providers can also monitor chronic conditions, such asthma and sickle cell anemia.
Women’s Health
Our women’s health department can help you manage your health both during and after pregnancy. We also offer gynecological services, annual exams, pregnancy testing, family planning services (birth control), breast health screenings, STD treatment and menopausal care.
Dental Care
Dental services are available to all Progressive Community Health Center patients. Our dental clinic is located at the Lisbon Avenue Health Center. Services include regular cleanings, fillings, x-rays, dentures/partials and simple tooth extractions. Adults, seniors and children as young as two years old are welcome at our clinic.
Financial Counseling
A financial counselor is available at both clinic locations to assist patients in applying for Medicaid benefits (BadgerCare+, Elderly, Blind & Disabled, Family Planning Waiver), FoodShare and childcare assistance. Those without insurance may be eligible to apply for our sliding fee program.
Case Management
Case management services are available to all patients. Our licensed social work case managers specialize in helping individuals with needs related to behavioral health, addiction, transportation, housing, food, childcare and more.
Referral Services
Progressive Community Health Centers is grateful for its community partnership with Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Our providers are skilled in preventing and treating common illness. However, if your medical needs are more complicated, we are able to refer you to some of the most skilled doctors in the area. Referral services include:
